Our Story
MR Promotions UK Ltd have toured the UK and Ireland many times, with Max Restaino, the composer of Wendy's World: The Musical, being at the forefront. Max has appeared as a special guest for Peter Andre, Steps, UB40, Tears for Fears, and so many more. As a singer and multi-instrumentalist, he has also worked with Gary Barlow on his last two hit number 1 albums, Peter Kay (Phoenix Nights- Live Tour) and his TV hit, Car Share, and Donny Osmond (60th Studio Album).
MR PROMOTIONS LTD is a team of hard-working and dynamic creatives working in the field of theatre, music and entertainment. Over the past ten years, the company has teamed up with many top brands and names in the entertainment industry and continues to gain momentum.
As a lyricist and composer, Max has worked with Happy Days star Don Most and the legendary LA Santa Baby composer Phil Springer.
Max recently composed the single, 'Check Your Boobs,' taken from the new musical, as a flagship song to help raise awareness of Hereditary Breast Cancer and the genetic predisposition, BRCA 1 & 2 gene fault responsible for breast, ovarian and prostrate Cancer. Max informs us, "All the songs have been written from an emotional place, having witnessed his family living with BRCA1. He says, "The songs from the musical take you on an emotional journey with humour, tears and a poignant message."
As well as stage managing the many UK Tours and appearances, Karen Restaino of MR Promotions UK Ltd, wrote the book for Wendy's World. Karen is a novelist and playwright known for her stage play, A Guinea Too Much, which was successfully produced at the Mansfield Palace Theatre, and her TV drama, Age Concerned, which was shortlisted for the Channel Four series, The Play's The Thing. More recently Karen released her debut novel, The Ringmaster.
Max and Karen Restaino recently joined forces with a fantastic group of industry professionals who all share a common passion for launching the musical "Wendy's World."
The musical serves as a powerful tool for raising awareness of hereditary breast, ovarian and prostate cancer, which is a condition that 1 out of every 300 to 800 people have, 97% of which are unaware. The team of highly talented individuals are working extremely hard in the background to bring the new musical to the stage very soon.
