Karen Restaino embarked on her literary journey as a playwright, showcasing her talent with her inaugural stage work, a Victorian drama entitled "A Guinea Too Much," which graced the Mansfield Palace Theatre in 2003. Her flair for storytelling extended to television with the drama "Age Concerned," which was honored with a shortlist nomination for Channel 4’s The Plays The Thing in 2006. After dedicating years to raising her four children, Karen pursued her educational ambitions, earning a BA in Theatre Studies from Rose Bruford College in Sidcup, South London, followed by a PGCE from Hallam University in her native town of Sheffield. As she prepares to unveil her second novel, "Weight In Gold," set for release in 2025, she is also launching "Wendy's World: The Musical." Her debut novel, "The Ringmaster," is already captivating readers.

Additional Info: Karen was instrumental in helping to cast the Italian quarter in the first series of the TV hit, 'Peaky Blinders' for the Colouring Book Casting Agency
